Ben and Meg have enjoyed sharing their life with you. They do a lot of the same things you do. What do you like best about your homeschooling?
Maybe you would like to write a book about your homeschooling. Do you live on a farm or in the city? Maybe you live in a small town. Do you live near the mountains, or next to the water? What kinds of things do you do?
If you do write your own book about your life, we would love to see it. Maybe you could send it to Oak Meadow School in Putney, Vermont. After we read it we will send it back to you.
If your mother and father decide to take a trip to Vermont, please come see us. You can sit on the porch of the bakery and have lunch and watch for the little bird. Then you can go into the bookstore and meet John. Be sure to come upstairs to see us! And don’t forget to visit the General Store, but walk carefully.
If you come in the spring, you can visit Harlow’s Sugar House, and if you come in the fall, you will see our beautiful leaves. If you come in the winter, you can go skiing. No matter when you come to Vermont, there is a lot to see and do.
What is there to see and do in your state? Write it down in your book so we can learn about it.
