The Little Bird
Once I saw a little bird
Go hop, hop, hop!
(Hop with the whole body or hop the fingers
of one hand on the flat palm of the other)
And I cried, “Little Bird,
Will you stop, stop, stop?”
(Hold up hands like stop signs or shake index fingers)
I was going to the window to say
“How do you do?”
(Pretend to shake hands)
But he shook his little tail
(Either shake your “tail” or
wiggle fingers of one hand)
And away he flew!
(With hands, show bird flying away)
