The Little Rabbit

Little cabin in the wood
(Make a pointed roof on head with both hands)
Little man by the window stood
(Peek through circled fingers)
Saw a rabbit hopping by,
(Make fist with index and middle finger pointing up like ears,
and hop along like a rabbit)
Frightened as could be.
(Hunch shoulders and look scared)
“Help me! Help me!” the rabbit said,
(Raise hands quickly high over head with each “help me”)
Or the wolf will eat me dead.”
“Little rabbit come inside,
(Beckon with forefinger)
Safe with me abide.”
(Fold one arm against the body and gently
stroke it as if stroking a soft bunny rabbit)
