Pat-a-Cake, Pat-a-Cake
Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake,
baker’s man,
(Clap hands together lightly)
Bake me a cake as fast
as you can,
roll it and pat it
(Pass hands over each other in circular motion
as if rolling and patting a cake)
and mark it with T,
(Form the shape of “T” in the air with a finger)
And put in the oven
for Tommy and me.
(Stretch out arms as if putting cake in oven.)
