CIRCLE TIME


Clear your space.

Light your morning circle candle.

Say the morning verse with your child.

    Morning has come,
    Night is away.
    We rise with the sun
    To welcome the day.
Sing or say one or two Songs, Versus and Fingerplays, and invite your child to join you. Repeat them several times so your child can learn them. Be sure to include both music and gentle physical activity in your circle verses.

Say the closing verse.

    I can be as small as a small, small reed or
    I can be as tall as a tall, tall tree.

Blow out the candle.
