SCHOOL ENROLLMENT: SERVICES

Your enrollment in Oak Meadow includes the following services and benefits:

Welcome Packet: We send all enrolled families a packet of guidelines, forms and information to orient you to homeschooling. This packet also includes the following bonus materials for newly enrolled families:
    • Learning Dynamics Audio Series - two CDs that offer indispensable tools for creating a vital learning environment in the home.
    • Living and Learning, a wonderful book of essays about homeschooling, by Lawrence Williams.

Evaluations: Oak Meadow teachers submit periodic evaluations for all enrolled students. All students have cumulative school records kept on file at Oak Meadow.

Transcript Services: Enrolled families receive a release of records form that is used to request that prior school(s) release their children's records to Oak Meadow. If a student transfers to another school, we will forward a transcript to the next school.

College Prep/SAT Testing: Enrolled students can take the SAT's using the Oak Meadow CEEB Code. We will keep official records of their scores and transmit these to colleges and universities when requested. We also send junior and senior high school students our College and Career Planning Guide.

Diploma: Students who meet our graduation requirements earn a high school diploma.

Graduation: We also enjoy honoring our graduating seniors by hosting an official Oak Meadow graduation ceremony each summer, in Vermont. We are pleased to provide an opportunity for our graduates, their families, teachers and Oak Meadow staff to celebrate together.

ID Cards: Many homeschooling students can receive discounts to museums, concerts, and bookstores if provided with an ID card.
