Kindergarten - Eighth Grade; World History

Debra May has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and a Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in Waldorf education. Before working with Oak Meadow, Debra was an elementary teacher in the public school system. She also taught the school's Gifted program and has a Gifted Endorsement. While working for her certification as a Waldorf teacher, she worked at a Waldorf school for three years.

Debra has written extensive curricula for gifted students. Her curricula and methods are designed to develop leadership skills. Debra has written and received two educational grants, one for a special gifted program and another for a gardening project.

Teaching International Folk Dance, Swing and Salsa is Debra's second love.
