Fifth - Eighth Grade Online

The students in my classroom will construct their wings:
Through encouragement, which teaches confidence
Through praise, which teaches appreciation
Through fairness, which teaches justice
Through approval, which teaches love of one’s self
And through acceptance and friendship, which teaches humanness

I greatly enjoy working with students and sparking their enthusiasm for learning and growing in a meaningful way. I have been a teacher for many years and have had the pleasure of working with students from different backgrounds with diverse ability levels. I am a credentialed Kindergarten through 12th grade teacher with a Masters Degree in Education. Each student in my classroom will have the opportunity, through exploration and discovery, to learn more about himself and the world around him. Students and their families may choose from a variety of academic topics and activities that best meet the student’s individual interests and learning styles. I am always open to working with families to meet the needs of each child and to maximize the value of the online learning experience. This individualized approach to learning helps students develop a strong sense of their own, gifts, talents, and uniqueness.
