Biology; Chemistry; Physics

I have been teaching and tutoring for over twenty years at both the high school and college level. I have a BA and MA in Biological Science, with a strong emphasis in chemistry. I am currently teaching at a private high school in Southern California. I have been with Oak Meadow for a year, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work with the home schooled students in my Oak Meadow classes.

I personally enjoy the inter-relatedness of the sciences. I approach science from a point of view that ties biology, chemistry, and physics together. I believe that students should not think of biology as a separate entity from chemistry and physics. To understand the life sciences, one must delve into the physical sciences.

As an Oak Meadow teacher, my goal is to guide each students through his or her curriculum and enhance their educational experience.
