Ever walk into a library looking for some information and wonder how you are going to find what you are looking for in all the books they have there? You might be skilled at using the library catalog and that is a good place to start. BUT, after wondering and wandering around for a while, it usually happens that you ask a librarian where to find the information you need.

So, the American Library Association, knowing that you must be wondering where to look on the internet for information, has provided a terrific service for you. It’s the Great Websites for Kids site. There you will find, just like a library catalog, a collection of websites selected and monitored by librarians. The sites are categorized by subjects. Give it a try next time you are looking for some information and you don’t want to waste time wandering around the internet.
