Whether you’re on the path towards college or are just looking for an academically and creatively fulfilling high school experience, you have the opportunity to build a high school course schedule that will meet your individual needs.
Below you will find a list of courses that we suggest for 10th grade. The courses taken during the 10th grade year can be adjusted based on student interest and skill level. We also offer comprehensive curriculum samples for each of our high school courses, which can be downloaded here.
Word: The Poet’s Voice
This poetry course explores the writing craft needed to produce poems that deserve to be read. Students will study various themes: from nature writing to love poetry; spoken word and environmentally-themed poems; and works focused on capturing and expressing the female perspective.
