50th Anniversary Celebration!

Celebrate 50 Years of Oak Meadow!

For 50 years, Oak Meadow has provided meaningful, flexible education to students and families through independent learning and distance-learning school. Our curriculum has empowered students to think critically, engage creatively, and pursue learning at their own pace – now, it’s time for a 50th Anniversary Party!

On June 1, 2025, we invite everyone curious or connected to Oak Meadow— currently enrolled, using the curriculum independently, or have graduated—to join us at Retreat Farm in Brattleboro, VT. This event will bring together past and present teachers, students, and families for a joyful day of connection, reflection, and fun.

If you’re traveling from afar, there are lots of other wonderful family-friendly things to do in Vermont in Spring. You can download Your Guide to the Greater Brattleboro, Vermont put together by the Brattleboro Chamber of Commerce for information on Brattleboro’s vibrant art community, events, trails, dining options, and more!

We’re excited to see you – VERY SOON!  Parking will be clearly marked.

Vermont weather can be unpredictable – you might want to bring layers, a water bottle, sunscreen, bug repellant (black flies, mosquitoes, and also ticks in the woods) and maybe even lawn chairs or a blanket to hang out in the outdoor space.

We hope you’ll stay through the day, and join us for cake and a short program at 2, to be followed by a group photo and the announcement of raffle winners (you must be present to win).
